INSIDE OUT

ARTIST’S NOTE:
“To me, love is being endlessly curious about someone. Love is wanting to see everything: the light, the dark, the in-between. It's wanting to take in everything about a person and to be turned inside out. When you love someone deeply, their smile is the sun that lights up your world. Love is feeling morphed with somebody, and every touch feels electric, begging to escape the trap of your skin suit disguise. On this great orbiting rock we call Earth, love is wanting to dance around it with that someone. Love is vulnerability, wanting to understand someone and to be understood. And that is what this song is about.
I made this video by patching together (royalty-free) found footage, made to visually represent this song and what it is about. Consume curiously.”

LYRICS:
Let’s walk through the shadows
To the place your mind goes
When you look out the window
Floating through outer space

Spin me around
I want to see your everything
Turn me inside out and walk with me through space
And when you smile
The clouds part, the sun comes out
To stay a while
We’re dancing through space

“We meet again. My name is Regan (pronounced Ree-gan)... if that name rings familiar, you may have seen me on the November issue, Ouroboros. I feel like the luckiest girl alive to behold the opportunity to grow my sense of community with creators around the world through Nowhere Girl Collective.
I'm just a girl in love with reverb and telling stories through sound. I love art and expression in all forms, but music has been my favorite medium of creating since before I can remember.
I am part of a 2-person indie dream pop band called Meadows. This song and all other works released under the name Meadows are co-created and co-produced by my partner and bandmate, Brian Ragland, and it's all home-made with love from our sweet little one-bedroom apartment.
You can find me on the streaming platform of your choice as Meadows <3”
